Amish Paste, winner again in taste test with Carbon, Jet Star and Yellow Pear (1)

Amish Paste tomato taste test with Carbon, Jet Star and Yellow Pear. My first Amish Paste tomatoes this year are big and sweet just like last year. Carbon only had one tomato on the plant and it has a fairly good flavor, but not outstanding. Jet star was ok, better than many, but not what I want for fresh eating even though it produced a lot of big tomatoes. Yellow Pear tomatoes have all split except for a couple and taste kind of blah. I think it's my garden and soil and uneven watering, maybe, because other gardeners have great tasting Carbon, Jet Star and Yellow Pear tomatoes. But, I have 200+ tomato plants and had over 100 last year and most my tomatoes last year and so far this year, have little flavor, except for Classic Beefsteak and Amish Paste. They overcame whatever growing conditions that made all the others lacking in flavor last year and this year and still came out sweet and full of tomato flavor.
