I finally cleaned things up so it runs normally again, at least for a while. I set up the new electric mining operation and things work better than ever. I can actually have all my Goliath Drills being fed continuous dirt which means continuous gems, gold and Cloutium. It took a while to setup but now that I have it's easy money from here on out. @sakurawillows83643 years ago Hey DF, Dungreed had an update that changes a bunch of things, and i think you might enjoy messing around with it[for example, boss chests now give a choice between item and 2 other random things, one being food lady selling 1 of 3 items, all that lower hunger and provide some benefit]
Also a new town NPC that uses special gems you get for beating up bosses ... 30

You can just put the uncut ones in there. And you don’t have to separate colors, just throw everything in there and it will process them and separate everything out for you ... 2

@jaash79813 years ago DF please put a bucket under the gemstone conveyer belt (with a funnel underneath it so it won't tip over) You can pick them up all at once and drop the bucket into the gem compressor.

@thatdudeshade25983 years ago So the ram drill get top layer dirt. Meaning no matter how deep you go it will produce top layer nuggets. If you use the other drill with the D.A.V.I.D it will produce the dirt from below. Meaning big nuggets! 1

@pistolade99563 years ago you dont need to cut or separate the gems before compressing them youll get the same result just dumping a bucket in there as you would if you split hand cut them all. just found this out myself and its a huge time saver

There are two things that I want to say.
1. You should really try to put 5 filters if not 6 directly after the pipe that pumps water. So only the filters will be damaged but not your drills. You won't need to repair that much then.
2. If your conveyer belts are not working properly, there is probably a cork somwhere were it shouldn't belong. Check your conveyer belts and look for a cork that's in the system when it should actually let water run through.
