@mizusenshi81723 years ago I had the same reaction to the Sharpedos. I would bike way out of the way to get around them. Also I didn't know the Wailord was Level 80 either...I just knew it was a static encounter thanks to a Discord group I'm a part of (which is also how I knew to register Kubfu in Home before evolving it).
Honestly just randomly exploring the DLC areas is the funnest part of them. I got so lost when first doing Isle of Armor and I didn't even care. I did learn that it helps to have the bike first so you can go in the water. Also the custom bikes are super cool. Agree there.
I don't know how I found out about the Galarica Twig thing...I think maybe I read it, or just figured it out. Not sure. Anyways, there are different items you can make with them in each DLC. The Galarica Cuff evolves it into Slowbro, while the Galarica Crown evolves it into Slowking. But the lady who will do the Crown is in the Crown Tundra.
Also after you complete the trials, you can pay watts to Honey to add upgrades to the dojo, like adding the ability to change your hair in the "bathroom," adding a Rotomi PC like those in the Pokémon Centers, etc. ... 2
