If you are willing to pay 125% more for a top of the line gpu then you re a part of the problem. The only way this practice stops is if you stop buying from these people or the fed gets involved and shuts down the practice but we don' t really need that either. @billwiley72162 years ago For those they want a high end gpu and have something to get by with best advice at this late stage of the game in the 30 series cards life span is wait many times people are waiting for the newer series to release and the prices to drop on the older series as retailers want to clear the old stock to make room for the new.
with the low supply problems you will not be seeing the blow out prices on older cards, the retailers just do not have that stock to have to unload on this go round.
but really why would a person pay the high price for a 3090 now ( if you already have something like even a 1070 to get you by for a few months) when in a matter of months the 4080 will be a faster cheaper option with the latest upgrades in the dlss and ray tracing generational advances?
