@t.a.k.palfrey388211 months ago It shocks me that us commentators speak of escalation if ukrainian military ormilitias attack targets inside russia. Why should we expect ukraine simply to accept daily bombardments of civilian areas by an aggressor, and not retaliate? If mexico were to invade and annex arizona and new mexico, bomb dallas, san diego, and dc, wouldn' t the us be bombing every city in mexico, sending thousands of troops into mexico? It wouldn' t just sit and take it, limiting its military strategy to simply retaking arizona & new mexico while dc burned and san diego was flattened. ...Expand 27

@wladekhanczar11 months ago Gene. Hodges and prof. Fukuyama:
" if peace is to be permanent, ukraine must be in nato"
gen. Ben hodges, one of the most outstanding gen. Hodges: it is in russia' s interest that ukraine belongs to nato. As a member of the north atlantic treaty organization, ukraine will never attack russia because it will not get the consent of 31 nato members. Russia will also not attack ukraine when it is in nato, because that would mean war with the entire alliance.
on the other hand, if ukraine concludes a forced truce but does not regain all of its lost territories, including the crimea and donbass, up to its 1991 borders, and after the war grows stronger thanks to western investments, it will surely attack russia one day to regain its lands.
russia and putin' s regime must lose the war with ukraine supported by the us, eu, nato, g7, rammstein formula (54 countries)
after completing the political reforms, ukraine will join the eu around 2027 and nato around 2030.
the presence of ukraine in nato and the eu will greatly increase our defense, political, economic and military potential.
regimes and dictators understand only one language: the language of power!
