MAKING CRUMB BUNS│New York Bakery Breakfast│Dining With Tara #shorts Today we are making New York Bakery Crumb Buns! This is an easy and fast recipe - perfect for a Sunday morning! I grew up eating NY crumb buns almost every Sunday. This recipe is so close to that authentic taste - and you won't believe that I made these REFINED SUGAR FREE!! You can substitute regular sugar if you prefer, but I am telling you guys - you won't miss the simple sugars! There is a recipe card at the end so you can take a screenshot for easy reference. There are LOTS more yummy recipes on my channel so be sure to subscribe so you never miss out. ★ Come cook with me ★ ★ SUBSCRIBE to my channel - https://goo.gl/H6VaDn Cake: 1 Large Egg ½ teaspoon Pink Salt ½ cup Milk of Choice 1 ½ cups All Purpose Flour 2 ½ teaspoons Vanilla Extract 2 ½ teaspoons Baking Powder 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil (melted) ½ cup Monkfruit (substitute any granulated sweetener) Crumb Topping: 2 teaspoons Cinnamon 2 ½ cups All Purpose Flour 2 Sticks Unsalted Butter (melted) 1 cup Coconut Sugar (substitute Brown Sugar) After cooking topping: ¼ cup Monkfruit Confectioner's Sugar (substitute any confectioner's sugar) Combine dry ingredients of cake and sift together in a medium bowl. In a separate bowl whisk together wet ingredients of cake. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet in batches until combined. Dough will be sticky. In a greased and floured 8x8 pan, add mixture and spread evenly. Combine crumbs ingredients and sprinkle over the batter. Place in a preheated Air Fryer or oven at 325F. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. After cooling, dust with confectioner's sugar. Store in an airtight container for several days.
