@SirWortel4 years agoWhat' s your thought on the competition? blue origin is developing the exact same space tourism product. @nerdmagicvideo4 years agoGreat video, thanks! But to avoid confusion among potential investors, you should make it clear that virgin galactic will not be flying anyone to the iss. their rocket (vss unity) doesn' t have the capability to go into orbital space or dock with the iss, and virgin galactic has no plans to make a rocket that can do so. the deal with nasa is for training, ground operations and procuring (not providing) trips to the iss or other orbital space facilities. The trips will be conducted by spacex, blue origin or others, with virgin galactic acting as the middleman. This is great for virgin galactic' s bottom line as it provides new revenue streams, but your video clearly implies that virgin galactic will be flying customers to the iss, which is unfortunately not true. ...Expand2

@
@sagehunt72164 years agoI do appreciate your analyses and videos, but i am not quite convinced on this one. It seems that your profit margin (66% is based on the assumption id="hidden14" that all/most flights will be full? I would guess that the majority of people in this social class would opt for " private tours" drastically decreasing profit per flight. Also to counter your price justification; most of your other examples of luxuries of the lavish are likely split between a group of wealthyhow many people can fit on a yacht? Or in a 100k/night vegas suite? I' d be willing to bet most chartering a private jet for 100k per flight aren' t flying solo. Please change my mind, because spce is currently in a dip, but i can' t logically pull the trigger. ...Expand
