Creation of Unlimited Islamic architecture patterns in a glance - Ali Morshedlou

The logic behind the mechanism of the creation of these textures is driven from a personal interpretation of Islamic patterns in architecture. Using that specific method, computer could easily create hundreds of thousands of very unique yet complex architectural patterns that are similar to a many known Islamic pattern. The movement of the pattern and the creation of the texture is so unpredictable and arbitrary that makes it impossible to aim for a specific design and produce it using the available variables. Yet, the beauty of the method is that there are only a few given parameters that are controlling the final outcome. In other words, to create almost unlimited unique reach Islamic textures using this method it is not necessary to deal with a lot of different variables that may be hard to be understood. To create this animation, 314 individual frames were rendered using the print function in Rhino, manipulated in Photoshop and put together in Premier Pro.
