Yongnuo 50mm f/1.8 VS Canon Comparison and full review (full-frame and APS-C)

After a couple of months of waiting for a copy of this lens to actually arrive, I present to you a full review of Yongnuo's first autofocusing camera lens! Although it's different on the inside, on the outside it looks the same as Canon's extremely popular EF 50mm f/1.8 ii lens. Could it possibly be as good, especially considering it only costs half the price? Do all the electronics work properly, or will the thing just fall apart in your hands like slow-roasted lamb shanks?
